Oh how we are loving this weather. The mornings are cool and the days pleasant. We have two great friends who bought a cabin and graciously allowed us to use it for a family weekend away this weekend. It was great that we drove from Tennessee, South Carolina and the Metro Atlanta area to meet in the North Georgia Mountains.
These two boys can't get enough of one another. Well the little one adores the older one and wants to be just like him. Noah has called Elijah "Iyah" since he learned to say his name. This weekend Noah picked up on Autumn calling Elijah "Lij," so the older one now has a new nickname from someone other than his momma.
Noah figured out how to cast his rod and was so proud. It will be awhile before he gets a real hook as he almost took me out with just the bobber on the line.
This was the first getaway we've all had together in a long time. It was nice to relax and visit with one another with nothing else on the agenda. We missed Dan, but he was proudly serving our country.
What weekend would be complete withou ring-pops?
Morning fog over the Coosawattee River. Simply stunning!
The sun quickly burned off the fog and the fall colors began to shine through.
