Every family passes down traditions from generation to generation. We cherish those traditions and hold steadfast to their value.
This holiday season has been so much fun for us and for Noah! We wanted to add a tradition to our own little family, so we decided to introduce Elf on the Shelf. It's a great story and a great way to start a new kind of tradition. As for naming our elf, we have simply referred to him as Elfie.
Sometimes Elfie would return from his nightly visit to Santa to his spot on the bookshelf, however, other nights he would get into all sorts of mischief.
Elfie went for a ride on Noah's tricycle.
Elfie got into Mommy's flour!
Then, Noah had to play in the flour. His cars and trucks were a mess, but he had the best time driving them in the flour.
And Elfie found a hiding place way up high on the pull-down for the attic stairs. He scared Mommy on this night!
