Baking Cookies

I am so behind in blogging and I'm not sure when I'll catch up! Trust me, I have so much to tell you about Noah and our adventures with him.

Noah turned two and a half a little over a week ago. It's okay if you didn't remember his "birthday," he didn't know it was a special day until I told him. The conversation was pretty simple and he laughed when I told him it was his half birthday.

This afternoon, I asked Noah if he wanted to make cookies. Of course he wanted to make cookies, it's his all-time favorite snack. He lives to go to Publix because he knows the lady will give him a cookie. He has chocolate chip cookies every Friday at school for snack.

Our friend Jeff just returned from a month-long vacation (yes, you heard me right) to Hawaii and brought Noah back a kid-sized apron. I already had an apron from one of Jeff's previous trips (yes, he goes to Hawaii A LOT). I promised Jeff we would cook with Noah and take pictures. Do you know how hard of a task it is to bake cookies with a two-year-old and take pictures? Luckily, Daddy was helping with dinner and the cookies and took some pictures.

I see a love for cooking already, just like his Mommie! And he looks a little like me, right?
