Day Out with Thomas - Riding the Train

The highlight of the day was a ride on a passenger car pulled by none other than Thomas the Tank Engine. Well, actually the train was pulled by a large diesel engine that was skillfully kept out of view at the back of the train. But we didn't mind since Noah loves big noisy diesels just as much if not more.



We all were relieved to finally get on the train. Our concerns about whether sitting in one spot and looking out the window would meet Noah's expectations for riding on Thomas were quickly alleviated. He had a great time. The only rough moment was when the train staff came up and down the isles singing and dancing to Thomas songs. This freaked Noah out, but it pretty much freaked everybody out.
