Vegas Trip 2009

So, we've been home from Vegas for almost a week and we're STILL recovering! It's not that we partied too hard or drank too much, for us it's simply been getting back into the swing of things and adjusting to the time difference. Nothing is easy when you have a toddler!

We had a great time in Vegas with our friends Grady and Kecia! We have them to thank for showing us around since this wasn't their first trip to Sin City.

We visited many of the BIG and most popular casinos. They were all impressive in size and architecture. We even ventured down to old Vegas or Freemont Street as it's referred to. It was very interesting to see some of the old casinos and the difference between them and the newer ones on the Vegas Strip.

On Saturday, we rented a car and visited the Hoover Dam. The dam and the new bridge were amazing. It was freaking hot at the dam!!! We're not sure what the actual temperature was at but our guess was about 110 degrees at noon!

There were many places to get great shots of the dam, but Daniel decided the men's bathroom on the bridge was one of the better places. He also informed us that it was by far the coldest bathroom he had visited in days.

A good time was had by all and hopefully we'll be able to plan another trip in the near future!
