The Griswolds of Cobb County

Most towns have a house infamous for its Christmas decorations. There’s one near us in a large country club subdivision. Given its frequent write-ups in the paper, and recommendations from friends who have witnessed it, we decided to take a look for ourselves. So one night before Christmas, we put Noah in his pajamas and drove by. Noah was almost asleep by the time we got there. As we parked, April held him up to the window and Noah offered his opinion of “Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!”

The pictures don’t do it justice. This is a large two-story house. I estimate some of the lights are 70 feet in the trees. Thanks to the homeowner and all his hard work. Excessive, tacky lights are the gift that keeps on giving, the whole year long.
