Four and a half months ago, Daniel and I agreed that we didn't want our child to have some of the BIG and BUSY toys that are on the market. Well we've eaten those words because last weekend we purchased Noah an Exersaucer...what you're suppose to have now that 'they' don't recommend walkers. We got the busiest and brightest one Babies R Us had. We opted not to purchase the one that will convert to things we'll never use (or at least we thought so). Noah wasn't too sure of it at first, mostly because of sensory overload! Now, he enjoys it more and has learned how to make the toys sing (yes, we also purchased 12 batteries for the dang thing).
We also decided that it was almost time for a highchair so we bought that too. A Friday night trip to BrUs only cost us $300! Noah's still a little small for the highchair, but Noah likes it better than the bouncy seat he was sitting in while we tried to feed him.

Yes, the plight of parenthood...learning to eat our words gracefully. Like....I'll NEVER have a child who does that...I eat that one all the time!!! Your child is precious. He has changed sooo much even since the last pictures. I think he's looking more like Daniel! :)
Get that fat baby out of that Exersaucer! And don't mix his foods either!
Just wait, guys...the toys will just keep getting bigger and brighter (and LOUDER, I might add) as they get older. Isn't it nice to eat words so quickly after uttering them?!? Takes a real parent to know what that's like. It gets more fun as you go! You guys seem to be doing great and that baby is such a CUTIE!! Hope you are having a great summer. Talk to you soon! Leigh :)
