June has been the month to try new things for Noah. At the beginnng of the month, Noah had cereal and formula for the first time. He wasn't too sure about the cereal at first, but now he's ok with it. On June 13th Noah had his 4-month check-up and the doctor said she thought he was about a pound underweight (he weighed 12 pounds 3 ounces). She recommended we try a different formula and offer Noah more of it and that we change his reflux medication. Of course, like all good parents we did. The formula was no biggie for Noah since we mix it with breastmilk. So, since the 13th we've been closely keeping track of what Noah consumes. He's had some baby food introduced as well. So far he's had peas, apples and bananas, all of which he likes a lot! On June 25th, Noah had an appointment for a diabetic study he's going to be a part of (as a result of some genetic testing done at birth) and then he weighed 13 pounds 1 1/2 ounces. That's a gain of 14 ounces in 12 days!!! Needless to say, he's packing it on.
