Edisto Island 2011 - Part I

We celebrated the end of the summer with my family at Edisto Island.  Thanks to a meticulously planned trip the six hour car ride there was bearable with an active three-year-old boy.  We had snacks, a prize bag so Noah could choose a surprise for being cooperative and Noah got to pick where we dined for lunch, Arby's.  While eating lunch Noah and another little boy in the restaurant entertained us with the "Good Mood Food," commerical theme song for Arby's.

Once we finally arrived at Edisto we enjoyed the company of Candice, Hallie, Brandon and Gabriel until the rest of the family arrived on Friday.  It was great to put our toes in the sand although Noah didn't want any sand on his body once we left the ocean.  He quickly learned that there was sand EVERYWHERE at the beach!  The house was great with the exception of the mosquitoes that would attack us if we stepped foot outside.  Daniel made a trip to Ace Hardware and returned with some mosquito spray for the yard.  It worked and we no longer had to run from the car to the house!

This boy LOVES the ocean!
