The weathermen were right with their predictions that the Atlanta area would get more snow than the area has seen in recent memory. Last night, January 9, 2011, in less than two hours the ground and streets were covered with several inches of snow. The snow continued to fall overnight and we awoke to even more snow! We estimate we got about six inches at our house.

I, on the otherhand, was disappointed to learn that my employer, the State of Georgia, would not close state offices for the day. The roads are a mess including our street which is very icy. I am thankful that I have a home office and was not required to travel today.
Noah enjoyed making his second snowman in less than a month (another thing I'm yet to blog about). His favorite thing was throwing snowballs. He had Daddy make snowballs and filled a bucket with them so he could throw them right back at him. He was so funny to watch!

So, I'll sit here and enjoy my coffee and try to get a few things off of my work to-do list.
