Wild Animal Safari

Last weekend, we were so happy Autumn and Elijah came to visit! Head on over to One Boy and Two Cats and read all about Thursday night, when the wildness began. Autumn and Elijah traveled six hours from Fayetteville. We didn't think that was enough traveling so on Friday we packed everyone in the car and headed for Pine Mountain, Georgia. This was a first for me and Noah, however, Dan, Autumn, Elijah and Daniel had visited the Wild Animal Safari about seven years ago. We hate that Dan missed this trip, but he's busy keeping our country safe. But hey, that's all the more reason to go back again. Everyone said it was pretty much the same, except this time we rented one of their "wild" minivans for our excursion to see the 800 animals in the park instead of driving our own car as Dan decided to do before.

Here's a few pictures of the walking part of the park. Trust me, this wasn't the interesting part. Part II of this stop included very LARGE animals begging and demanding us for the beef feed sticks we had in the minivan with us!

Now, let the WILD RIDE BEGIN!!!

First, you must know that our rented minivan's side door didn't work. So all of us had to climb in through the front seats. The van reeked of animal smells that we can only assume from the slob that they gracious left behind after we fed them or sped away in fear that they would eat us!

Look at that sweet ride!
