HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY NOAH !!!

Before the cake and ice cream, we had SNOW!!! As most of you know, we southerners don't do any type of wet, cold percipitation on the ground. The Atlanta area received several inches that stuck around into the day on Saturday. We weren't sure who would be able to make it to the party on Saturday, but the sun came out, cleared up the roads and a party we had! We are really glad that Candice, Hallie, Papa and Baba braved the snow and drove three hours from South Carolina to join us!

Noah picked out his cake several weeks before his party. Our local Publix was out of the kit for awhile and we were worried we would be in search of a Thomas the Train cake kit before the party, but Publix never fails. Noah had the best Thomas the Train cake a two-year-old could ask for! And since Noah found his sweet tooth in recent months, he LOVED the cake!

Noah also received some great gifts. Just to name a few he got a Thomas the Train Roundhouse for his train table, some books, a Mr. Potato Head set, a Thomas the Train bubble machine, a few puzzles, a small chair and some loot! The hit of the day was the Thomas the Train bubble machine that Amy and Greg gave him. Noah's loved bubbles for sometime, but couldn't work the bubble machine he already had. Needless to say, he can press the handle on Thomas and bubble up the world! We've already emptied an entire bottle of bubble solution...that's a lot of bubbles for those who may not know. He really likes everything he received and depending on the day, one of them is his favorite. And for the loot, including gift cards, those are the gifts that keep on giving! Trips to the train store and Target are much more enjoyable for Noah when we tell him he can get a "pize" as he calls it.
