When people we know see Noah, many comment on how beautiful or cute he is. I would chalk this up to friends and family simply feeling compelled to say such, but strangers on the street express the same reaction with great frequency. Once when we were waiting outside of a restaurant for a table, an 8 year-old boy stopped as his family walked by to say, “I like your baby.” Of course a few weeks later a 2 year-old girl who peered into the car-seat where Noah was sleeping offered the keen observation of, “That baby has a big head.” Well, yes he does. And yes, we like our baby too. And yes, he is beautiful.
