As you all know, Daniel is staying home with Noah for the summer. It's been a month since I returned to work and Daniel and Noah have a routine of their own in place. As I mentioned before, Noah isn't really a good daytime napper. He thinks 30-45 minute naps are ok. A few weeks ago, he would occassionally take an hour long nap, but now that he can turn over he would much rather play than nap. Daniel knows he must use those napping minutes wisely.
I took this picture of Daniel reading to Noah. They started Ms. Spider's Wedding and it took them about two weeks to finish it. Some nights, Noah is way too tired for a book to be read. Now, Daniel reads to Noah several times during the day and Noah loves it! Today, they read Jumanji which is a fairly long book. Noah sat and listened to the whole book. Some of Noah's favorite books are Guess How Much I Love You, Hand Hand Fingers Thumb, Olivia and Mouse Paint. Baba (Bobbie) found a whole bunch of books and brought them the last time she came to visit. We are working our way through the pile and finding new favorites all the time!
